Melanie Timms is a singer and guitarist who is lucky enough to call Australia’s south west home. Melanie loves to play music in wineries, breweries, bars and restaurants and at events in the south west, Perth and further afield.

From an early age Melanie loved to sing (loudly) and co-wrote her first song with her sister at age 7. Sadly it doesn’t stand up to the test of time, but fortunately her song-writing skills have improved in the years since.

Melanie has played at birthday parties for 7 year olds and 60 year olds, at outdoor film festivals and small Southbound Festival stages, for the elephants at Perth Zoo, in forests and at the beach, on an old sailing ship, at fancy lunches and backyard house parties, Gala Events and run-down pubs.

Having played a mix of covers and originals for over 25 years Melanie has a wealth of experience in providing the musical backdrop to events large and small.
